Meet Dr. Rosalie S. Braun

Rosalie S. Braun, DDS

Dr. Rosalie S. Braun received her Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and postgraduate specialty Certificate in Periodontology from New York University. Dr. Braun served as chief resident and received numerous national awards for clinical and research excellence, including two-time recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation Scholarship, the Nobel Biocare Scholarship, and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. Dr. Braun was recognized for Distinguished Leadership and her overall successful clinic production. Dr. Braun remains involved in research. She published seven peer-reviewed articles, presented her work at numerous meetings, and was recognized as a top presenter at the Academy of Osseointegration and NYU Research Day competitions. She has given back to the community through her involvement in the Veterans Affairs (VA) Oral Health Initiative, as a postgraduate clinical teaching assistant, and as an appointed advisor to the NYU Dean for Clinical Affairs, Ethics and Professionalism, and Research.

Dr. Braun is compassionate, and she counsels her patients so that they are informed and comfortable with their course of treatment. She aims to preserve teeth, and favors a traditional periodontal treatment approach combined with current trends in tissue engineering. Dr. Braun believes in life-long learning and remains current in the field through continuing education courses.
